I waffled as to wheather we should break backwards compatability,
After Craig explained it was because of our Designation of Beta,
there better be a pretty good reason for breaking compatability.
We promised backwards compatability and I agree that for 1.1
that is the way it needs to be.

Once we go to the 1.2, 1.2.1 etc like Ant then we can adopt
an new policy.
