There is a standard Bugzilla way of marking bugs so that those with (or without) patches can be easily identified. That is the use of PatchAvailable in the Keywords field. Ted has started using this field, and I think this is great.
Unfortunately, I suspect there are plenty of unresolved bug reports that have patches but do not have this keyword set. A very useful exercise, therefore, would be to query for unresolved bug reports that do not have PatchAvailable set, and then go through the results and add the keyword for those that do have patches. Personally, I find the use of [PATCH] in the subject of a bug report annoying, and I'd rather see that removed and replaced with the use of the PatchAvailable keyword. -- Martin Cooper "Mohan Kishore" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > I am sorry - i guess i was not very clear. i am just concerned about how to > query Bugzilla in order to only get bugs with no available patches.
