http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20535 Dynamically size arrays to allow array types in request scope DynaActionForm forms ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-06-06 02:27 ------- This is my last comment... (I think) On the other hand being able to pass a List back and forth can be cleaner when integrating with the biz layer in your Action. That way you are not having to convert your List (retrieved from the BizLayer) into an Array for display and then an Array back into a List for passing into the Biz Layer. When a property type is an Object[] type (<form-property type="com.foo.MyObject []") will DynaXXXForm determine whether it is a straight Array or a List automatically. I'm pretty sure it doesn't. But, I can't remember. If it doesn't then it is probably a good idea to use these as complimentary patches. Anothe r option might be to come up with a way to detect an Object[] and a List for auto conversion in the DynaForm. Then allow for the Action to convert the Object[] to a List via Arrays.toList(Object[]). Maybe... maybe not. I'll leave it at that. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
