http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24856 Struts doesn´t accept internationalized form inputs for Number, Date, Timestamp etc ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-12-29 09:32 ------- Why was this bug marked wontfix ? Are there better alternatives for converting from text to java objects ? Being locale aware is a real issue to me (I also have issues the other way round : I found no way to specify a formatter on html:text and the like to convert numbers using appropriate formatting). Stutz's proposed solution does not seem right however : a new LocaleBeanUtils.populate(bean, properties, locale) method shoud be created to remain thread safe. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
