There's a relatively new archive for Struts-Dev at mail-archive.com.
There's an older archive there to for Struts-User, which is pleasant to
use.
Craig's mentioned the workflow processing several times, but I don't
believe there has been anything like a detailed discussion.
There has been some recent discussions about a portlet framework here
that will probably interest you. You'll find that thread at least at
mail-archive.com.
I will also be very interested in a portal framework myself, after I
fry some other fish, so I'm personally delighted to see this discussion
happening, even if I can't contribute much right now.
