There's the "struts-simple" example. It's a little convuluted right now.
It started out as a simple example, and then I started adding the dotted
notation and workflow stuff to it. What's there should really be labeled
"struts-workflow" now, and the elder struts-simple restored.

Another idea would be to add the nested taglibs (and maybe some other
stuff) to the struts-exercise application. Unit tests can make very good
examples too.
