Finally got the time to get to the bottom of my BeanUtils/Mapping issues. Certainly a long way from a show-stopper, but a few users have had issues stemming from this.
I've submitted and bug and a patch to commons to get PropertyUtils in line (anyone with commons commit kudos?), and have adapted to the iterate tags to take advantage of it. The iteration and nesting reference comes out as a nice... mappedProperty(key).something(otherKey).somethingElse The code is standing by. If the rest of you committer type people feel it should be thrown in during the beta process, just let me know, ortherwise I'm more than happy to wait until the lock-down is lifted.
