When a client machine has a product such as Norton Firewall installed, and
it is set to "block referrer", the values in the STRUTS form bean are lost
or don't get set. The result is that the user enters a value into a
required field, but when the action class runs to validate it, it thinks
that the entry was not filled in and sends the user back to the same page.
We are not even trying to capture the referrer info, so I have no idea why
it being blocked would cause a problem. I apologize if this is a stupid
question, as I am new to STRUTS and just inherited this code. Any info at
all is greatly appreciated.
