The scope of what will get included in JSF 1.0 is being actively discussed
in the expert group -- until that's completed, it's a little hard to
predict exactly when an updated release of the RI (suitable for use with
the struts-faces integration library) would be available.  I would tend to
assume a small number of months, though.

It turns out that the web-based forums are *substantially* less effort to
administer than mailing lists are (and, having done that at various times
for JSP-INTEREST and SERVLET-INTEREST, I can vouch for this).  Therefore,
we've been tending to use web-based forums for all of the new
technologies.  I don't see us reversing that trend.  The forum, therefore,
is the canonical place to have discussions about JSF.

Formal feedback on the spec should be sent to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]",
but that is a one-way feedback alias (like the corresponding addresses on
all the other specs), not a discussion list.
