http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15023 Use attribute 'id' instead of 'name' in html:form-Tag Summary: Use attribute 'id' instead of 'name' in html:form-Tag Product: Struts Version: Nightly Build Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: Custom Tags AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The html:form-Tag creates a 'name' attribute which is used by the focus-Script. However in XHTML 1.0 Strict there is no such attribute defined for the 'form' Tag. Use of the attribute 'id' could solve this issue. However there might be a possible danger because id is declared to be an ID and enforces document-scope uniqueness. In contrast 'name" is declared to be an NMTOKEN which doesn't enforce this requirement. The use of 'id' will enhance conformance to the standard. As is, the document has to be declared XHTML 1.0 Transitional if the html:form-Tag is used. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
