Please read the comments on JAR sharing that I put into the user's guide about this: http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/userGuide/configuration.html#config_add The bottom line is that most aspects of sharing JAR files will *probably* work, but I do not consider this to be a supported feature of Struts. There are way too many corner cases that are almost impossible to test, so I wanted to set expectations appropriately.
