There were plans to add more kind of beans related to the definitions. For now, there is only one kind of interface and its implementation ;-(.

This two classes are part of the Tiles API, so they should NOT be moved.
The MenuItem interface is used in association with the <item ...> tag in the tiles config file. The SimpleMenuItem is its default implementation.
