Module was... is optional and confusing. I think delay this a point after 1.2.
I'd say the opposite. We need to "eat our own dog food" and use modules in our own applications or drop that line of development altogether.
Given modules in 1.1, it's hard to justify distributing all these picyune applications, that could just as easily be modules.
I think struts-upload could be deprecated (along with bean and logic tags). People can do file upload out of commons, or using Jason Hunter's COS upload. etc. Upload is not a Struts core value and could go back to commons.
The upload example application uses the Commons-Fileupload package. If we bring the Struts Examples module online, the file upload example would be just one of these, and wouldn't need to be a separate application.
I would like for 1.2 to ... (can someone set up a "wish list" wiki please?)
The Wiki is open to everyone. Asking someone else to setup a wiki page is contrary to the whole idea of a wiki =:0)
