+1

I'd especially like to get something out the door before Craig's "radical request processor proposal" hits the fan. =:0)

I'm going to tend to another fire tonight, but I've staked a few patches to evaluate later this weekend.

If any of the other Committers aren't bending too many elbows this weekend, here's the query for Struts tickets using the "PatchAvailable" keyword.

http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=VERIFIED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&product=Struts&short_desc=&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&keywords=PatchAvailable&keywords_type=anywords&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=&order=Bug+Number

[Select all status but RESOLVED and CLOSED, select Struts, enter "PatchAvailable" in keyword.]

There's only 19 tickets with patches, and I signed up for 5 of these.

While I know Thomas Jefferson and company didn't have Open Source in mind back in 1776, I'm pretty sure they would have considered it a fundamental right =:0) The Marketplace of Ideas is alive and well, and living in cyberspace!

So, wave your flags and apply those patches!

And, of course, I don't mean just the Stars and Stripes. Struts has Committers and Users the world over. (As I'm often reminded when I send many lucky winners copies of SIA by international post.) So, please, feel free to wave your flag of choice. =:0)
