Here's a bunch of proxy settings you might try using:

I've never tried building it behind a proxy server - sorry. I'd search Maven's mailing list archives if this doesn't work.

Hi,

I've made a couple of minor mods to Struts menu, as part of an attempt to implement RFE 939422, and I'm duly trying to use Maven to build the thing, but this is where I'm coming unstuck. We use a proxy, so I've had to put my proxy details into "C:\WINNT\Profiles\oflahertyc\build.properties", but when I cd into the "src\java" directory in Struts menu, and do "maven jar", I get a lot of proxy related errors.. but the funny thing is that I'm 99% sure that the details are correct..

The output:

M:\dev\new_arch\tools\struts-menu-2.2\src\java>maven jar

| \/ |__ _Apache__ ___
| |\/| / _` \ V / -_) ' \ ~ intelligent projects ~

Error retrieving artifact from [http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/dom4j/jars/dom4j-1.4-dev-8.jar]: java.lang.Exception: Not a
uthorized by proxy.
WARNING: Failed to download dom4j-1.4-dev-8.jar.
Attempting to download commons-jelly-20030902.160215.jar.

Etc etc etc

Any ideas as to what's up?? Can I download the files manually and put them somewhere, so that Maven doesn't need to go out through the proxy at all??

Thx.

Colm
