Do a view source on your page - find the CSS class names of your submenu items (I think it's something like submenu) and then look in the CSS file for this class. Adjust properties accordingly until you get the positioning you want.
In other words, the submenu is 'absolute' positioned, and you'll need to change the number of pixels.
