Using "menuRepository" instead of "${sessionScope.menuRepository}"
really did the trick! :)))

If you put your repository into the session with a name of
"menuRepository" - in your tag, just use repository="menuRepository".
You can also use the same name as Struts Menu does
(MenuRepository.MENU_REPOSITORY_KEY) - then you won't need to specify
a repository attribute. The following may help:
