Rather than fight human nature, wouldn't it be easier to modify the
list-maintainer program to detect any message with the word
"unsubscribe"
in the subject, filter it out, and send back to the sender the
proper instructions?
Of course, that would then catch this message for example :-)
Still, there are obvious work-arounds for anyone who really wants to
discuss
the topic of un-sub-scribing on the list!
