i posted a suite of tags for improved handling/dealing with ActionErrors
to the struts-dev list some time ago. maybe these would be of use
in some or all of these cases. feel free to pilfer...
they may require some tweaks to work with the current build of struts
(i haven't tested it since i submitted the code)
