Hello all, I have a design question for the web gurus out there. Initialy, our security only determined if the current user could access the desired page. However, now, we are taking it one step farther. Depending on the user, fields must either be displayed or not. Since our pages currently consist of taglibs that are formatted using tables, it is not as simple as allowing the taglibs to determine if they should write themselves to the screen. This will create rather unpleasent results. I am contemplating creating some sort of 'smart' table taglibs, that will redefine themsleves as needed for security. I was wondering how others are addressing this??? Any thought would be greatly appreciated, Pete
