What would someone recommend for using as a connection pool besides the Struts one? Basically I'm looking for a similiar product, but I want it to be able to check if a connection has been lost or gone bad and create a new one to replace the bad one. I see that there is a pool project in jakarta-commons, but it doesn't seem like it is ready yet for production use.
