Hi Jens, The format attribute is a new addition to the html:write tag. Try downloading the nightly build if you wish to use the feature.

Org (E-Mail) Subject: formatting dates Hi, I'm using struts for two months now and I must say I'm impressed .... but I have a problem: when using the format attribute of the bean:write tag I get an exception saying that the attribute format is not allowed according to the tld ...? even if it would work, I'm not completely clear on how to use it. Would I just put a SimpleDateFormat format string in there like 'ddMMyyyy' in there? regards Jens Schauder O/P/A/L EDV-Unternehmensberatung Hauptstrae 290-292 33818 Leopoldshhe Germany phone: +49 / 5202 / 95 66-0 fax: +49 / 5202 / 95 66-99 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] web: http://www.opal.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
