Greetings, all. This is my first post to the list, and
am just looking for some simple information.

First, a little background. I finally looked into
Struts last week after hearing it mentioned on plenty
of other Java sites. I read the install guides, the
dev guides, selected pieces of the javadoc, etc. to
get familiar with benefits before beginning a
tutorial. I like what I see so far.

We're (the company I'm working for) getting ready to
begin a new web app. It will be a servlet/bean/jsp
solution we're all familiar with...no EJB's are
planned at this time (the time frame is too narrow for
a neophyte in EJBs (me) to undertake that at the
moment).

So there's the background, here's the question: our
target app servers are going to be Websphere 4.0+,
WebLogic (5.0? 6.0?), and a free/low-cost one (Tomcat,
Orion). These are the ones we're going to "certify"
our app for. I see there's separate installation
instructions for each of those servers on the struts
website, but how much trouble does anyone see with me
trying to create an app that runs rather transparently
under all three?

Also, for anyone else who've just started up, anyone
have any "gotchas" as it's related to new Struts-based
development?

Sorry for the long-winded question, and any
help/pointers are appreciated. I'll be wrapping up my
evaluation of Struts before Christmas. Cheers, all!
