The Online Auction sample that ships with WSAD is using struts ! >From the File New Project you can select the Auction example. If you execute the installation steps in the help (to configure your database) you should be able to run it.
Struts sample application is simple to deploy and run in WSAD.
You can deploy and run the struts-example.war file in the WSAD.
No additional configuration needed.
BTW I'm running WSAD 4.02 with DB2.
