www.kgbinternet.ca Not free but for $10 Canadian you'll get jsp and servlets with Tomcat (3 or 4 your choice) in a shared JVM. $20 setup charge gets you MySQL database, and for $20 a month instead of $10 you get a private JVM. Alternatively www.blacksun.ca have similar deals around $30 Canadian.
I've given up on free hosting, so I'd just been researching the cheapest pay for sites.
