we haven't had any problems. yes you may need to stick some data somewhere. Also, we've had to save URLs. For example, in our stuff you can be merrily going along and then decide to do something that requires a logon. We intercept that, force you to logon, then let you continue. All but the last part uses forwards. The last, we restore the saved url and invoke it.
