Hi david... It actually depends on the IE version which u use and also the response header what u set. Attatched is an excel file which gives details of the behaviour for various settings of the response header. Tried on IE 5.0,IE 5.5 and IE 6.0 . could'nt try on netscape versions. Hope u find it useful .
