Hi All, I would like to persuade my manager when I see him at the team meeting this Friday to allow me to use 1.1beta for the new project I am on, which is due to be completed end of September.
I have got a few reasons so far - any comments or additional reasons would be welcome: 1.1beta is highly likely to reach release status by the end of September It looks like 1.0.2 -> 1.1 is a fairly major upgrade - it would be better to start with 1.1 even though it's beta. The ActionErrors mechanism has been upgraded and now ActionMessages are available too (this is an area where the project might benefit) Indexed properties have been introduced for many of the input tags (we have lots of pages with multiple records to be edited at once). Lastly, is 1.1 compatible with J2SE 1.4 ? I can't work out from the website whether it only requires 1.2 or if that is just struts 1.0.2 - I remember a discussion about chained exceptions - which are only possible in J2SE 1.4 Thanks Adam -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
