how do set value in html :radio button ?

when the action class from this jsp is called it will get the value of type string "The value to be passed".

 

How do i pass the value of the xml path to the next action class through the value of the html:radio button.

 

my code is as given below:

 

<html:radio property="selectedItems"  name="svmCreate" value="The value to be passed" >

        <bean:write name="item" property="xmlPath" />
