Yes - that's the key: doing. You may have to gain some insight on how to "plug-in" tiles to your application. It just occurred to me that 1.0.2 doesn't (I don't think) have the plug-in architecture. Therefore ... I'm not quite sure what you need to do - probably use the servlet included in Tiles. Cedric is probably around somewhere and will be glad to clearify. So far as the rest of the Tiles behavior (in Struts 1.0.2), I believe it is accurately depicted by what Chuck's chapter has to say about it.
