I've taken a quick look through the archives and haven't found what I was looking for but;
Where does jakarta-struts log to by default? I've checked my container logs (tomcat 3.2.4) but I can't think of where else the output from the logging would be going. I'm using debug/verbosity level 2 in web.xml. My apologies for the simple question, perhaps it's simplicity indicates that it should be on one of the various FAQ's.
