Sounds like he's calling reset() in the bean.

- you're not invalidating the session and creating another are you?

Hard to make a good guess based off your information. I know someone at
some point in the past was having some such weirdness and it turned out
his session timeout was 1 minute (60 seconds) -- he was mystified, as he
thought his session was supposed to be there an hour (60 minutes).
Check that first just to confirm. Then ... assuming you're not doing
the second two above, ... I have no clue :-/
