Anymore (and maybe this is a poor practice), I substitute doing a Google search for searching the archive. I find it more useful, personally. I have no clue how they can determine what's good and what's bad, but I find that an invaluable resource at times.
I can't say I've ever seen servlet-interest hits there though ...
