It's Friday afternoon man! Even Mark isn't thinking about Struts over there in Blighty, most likely nursing a warm beer. ;-) A way of knowing where you came from, is to pass a parameter called "url" that has the value of the page where you came from. But, I want to STRONGLY DISCOURAGE you from doing such a thing. Treat your web app as a state machine and if you know where you are and what your state is, then you'll only ever have to worry about where you can go next and ignore piddly details like where you have just come from.
