But who wrote that reset()? reset() was called in 1.0 for every request expect at create time. Since 1.1 the reset is called on create which comes veryvery handy in case of you'd like to initialise your bean depending eg on the request.getUserPrincipal(). reset the subBean, but do not set to null.
