I vote for Torque (http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/torque) Recently I fed up writing JDBC PreparedStatement, Statement try/catch/finally blocks, someone in the list suggested Torque. It's impressive. Btw, I don't know what DBArchitect for Java is, so I can't make a comparison.. /tb.
