OK, but I hope you'll agree that it's better to code to spec than specific implementations. IE and Netscape are only 2 of an uncountable number of clients.

There may be no guarantee in the spec, but that's how both IE and Navigator
implement it.

That is incorrect. Javascript has nothing to do with how HTTP transfers
your form data to the server. There is no guarantee on the order of form
fields sent.
