There is a bug in bugzilla at http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16337 that is pretty much the problem you are describing. I am creating a patch for the fix that I implemented to get DynaValidatorActionForm and DynaValidatorForm to work as multipage forms. I will post it to the bug report and see if it sticks.
