This problem nearly turns me crazy. But I solved.
The real guilt of this horror cache history is IE (Microbugs) when
the GET http method is used.
My solution:
always do a POST. And if you need a GET overwrite the URL, with an extra
parameter = System.currentTimeMillis() (guarantee value uniqueness).
And all my pages have this header:
<head>
<meta http-equiv="EXPIRES" content="-1">
<meta http-equiv="PRAGMA" content="NO-CACHE">
<meta http-equiv="MAX-AGE" content="0">
<meta http-equiv="CACHE-CONTROL" content="NO-CACHE">
</head>
this works in all environments I've tested.
