That was almost what I was looking for just then.  A very opportune post.  I
have a quick OT question about the form entry though that you may be able to
answer.

When my form is rendered to the user in html I want the value displayed to
the user to be different to that sent to the form bean.  IE

<input type="checkbox" name="signals" value="signal_group_one.power" />
....
<input type="checkbox" name="signals" value="signal_group_two.power" />

but I only want the "power" to be shown next to the checkbox.  Is there
anyway to do this.

Sorry to ask, but a two day dredge of the net has revealed nothing.
