I had a problem with this version and Tomcat request parameters. The Content-type of the form submitted by IE was 'application/x-www-form-url-encoded,application/x-www-form-url-encoded' instead of 'application/x-www-form-url-encoded'. As a result, Tomcat wouldn't parse out the request parameters (including session info?) in the body of the posted message. I fixed this by writing a Valve that set the Content-type to the correct value.
