Yep, this issue again, as much as I hate to report this ... testing RC2
with WebSphere 4.0.3 (servlet spec 2.2 compatible, unfortunately). I could
not get my Tiles pages to display and images to display, and traditional
html links are failing. For example,
With Display Tag Library, the action path contains a double context root:
<display:column ... href='<html:rewrite page="/change.do" paramId= ...
/>'
Using image tag, image is not displayed, and action results in a 404 page
not found error.
<img src='<html:rewrite page="/images/myPic.gif" />' ...
onclick="window.open ('<html:rewrite
page="/promptSelectionPage.do" ... />);">
Using <html:rewrite/> in a normal Struts fashion, within Struts tags, the
action path is correct and the forward works fine. All other Struts
behavior is working as expected. I upgraded from using RC1 (03/12/2003
nightly), which was working flawlessly. Sorry to bring negative news to
the table. Please let me know if more information is needed to get this
figured out. Btw, not surprisingly, WebSphere 5.0 works perfectly, as some
of you have no doubt already discovered.
