I don't really understand what your problem is. What do you mean about the value of the Select box already having changed? Perhaps you could explain it with an example.

I am submitting a form using "onchange" javascript even handler w/ <html:select></html:select> tag. This works fine until I turn on VALIDATION,
If validation is set to true, and there are any validation errors, when
the
page is displayed w/ the validation errors, the value of the SELECT box has already changed ?? Which causes the cline to see errors messages for the 'wrong' displayed item.
any ideas??
