The question is too vague for any of us to be much help. If your design is such that most of the hard work is done outside of the taglibs in "helper" classes, then you'll probably be able to reuse that code. If you have a mess of custom taglibs and scriptlets then your job will be considerably harder. Personally, I'd set aside the existing app, and design from the ground up.
