I'm interested in Keel also. I heard Joe Germuska collectively call the following products 'microkernels':
Hivemind http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/sandbox/hivemind/ Keel http://keelframework.org/ Spring http://www.springframework.org/ PicoContainer http://www.picocontainer.org/ I've only done a little research so far but of these four I am interested in all except PicoContainer (sorry Vic). PicoContainer's documentation is incomprehensible to me. All products seem to be near a 1.0 but I don't think any of them are quite there yet.
