Matt, Thank you very much for your valuable inputs. I talked about AppFuse with my architect 1 week back. Its pretty cool and he agreed with me that it would be the perfect choice for us if we found it earlier. But the project is on the meadway where we have developed a working (though inconsistent and hazardous) framework that's evolving for the last 1 year. Our architect is looking for a good time to switch to AppFuse in future. May be he has recruited me mainly to take this framework into a good shape now. Your comments here are really valuable to us, specially the idea of Cactus for servlets and STC for action classes. But if we want either of this two for testing JSPs instead of Canoo's WebTest which one would you recommend? I am currently evaluationg both Cactus and STC. However one thing came to my mind that unit tests should be done in business logic career components rather than action classes. I don't understand why in-container or even mock objects tests we should need if keep those logics in statndard javabeans and thus only write JUnit tests to check them.
