Config "validator plug-in" to Save ActionMessages in session scope ?

Hello,

I see in the Nightly Build release note that's we can now save the 
ActionMessages in the session scope 
(http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/userGuide/release-notes.html).

And my question is to know if it's possible to change the parameter of 
"validator plug-in" to save the ActionMessages in the session scope (not 
in request scope).
