:-)

and of course in times of myDoom and other stuff,
using the "*.exe"-pattern could really bring trouble
with firewalls!
:-)

cheers!

Hello Nushin,

Foo Bar :) (Greetings)

Lazy programmers. People were tired of using .html, so they started
using .do. Its smaller to write, less code, so your code executes much
faster. One of the way java can run much faster than "other competing
technologies". This is also another way to staying away from Microsoft
Technologies like html, htm, doc (this one is tricky, very simlar, but
different).. Etc..

Its Friday, I could have gone for a bit longer.

Vic,

Would you elaborate on *.do? What does "do" stand for?

Regards,
Nushin

and note,
that in some cases you should use
(trouble with firewalls)
  <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>action</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/do/*</url-pattern>
  </servlet-mapping>

instead of *.do
