OK, thanks to HAminullah which has already invited me to join this 'stt
telkom Hp' discussion here. I'm sorry if I just speak up for now since I was a
'beginner' at stttelkom, so..it took time to gathering data about internet
regulating and hp managing here,..at our beloved campuss.
1. BAd HP
We realize a good hp has to be viewed from 2
criterion : content & design. It almost worthless if there's hp which has an
excellent artistic design with full of 'under construction
messages' messing around. This condition is what I found in previous
stt-hp, but I weren't sure if that the one which made by AII team, but let me
tel u, the design itself was not really cool either !
That's why, a year ago (I forgot the date/month), stt set up a team
comprised people from TI, IF, EL, which its maintask was designing stt-hp.
And the result is just what we are talking about now.
From my point of view, current stt-hp has poor design but 'not bad at all'
for its content. I have been compare with : NTU-singapore, Unitar-virtual
univ-malaysia (www.academic.unitarklj1.edu.my).
Unpas, GUnadarma,..so on. Need some prooves.?
- Check : http://www.stttelkom.ac.id/struktur_pengembangan-labTI.htm. It explained the detail of Industrial Engineering LAb - conceptual model., something I couldn't find at others univ I mentioned above.
- The information about the acceptance of new students, is similar with others forms promotion. I has confirmed this with current Chief of PMB-Commitee, Mr. Wiyono (since we are at the same room here, Red). PMB stands for Penerimaan MAhasiswa BAru.
I also familiar with people behind Witessa and from what I known, they have
built many cool site including : TI-Intranet system, interactive/dynamic hp
using ASP, DHTML, JAvascript and so on,..but I have no idea what went wrong
here, how they design stt-hp with full of 'frontpage-only' design. A tool
acoording mr Bill Gates self said : I made it for the 'rookies' only,
actually.
OK, but I heard at not in a long time ahead, people responsible and
related much with this matter, will sit together to improve internet service,
internet usage, hp, management & responsibility matter.
You also invited, including students, labs. assistants, others
intereseted party.
2. Appreciating People Works
You said (haminulah) before according to Pancasila, we have to appreciate
others works. But look at what u said before, was that reflect that one? I'm not
sure and take a look also to what most of alumni comments, I think they didn't
behave as a good critic. How does it feel if u be that one who create
this..?suicide just like mr Marven Aires said,..lucky to you since he/she not
killing you,..:) Why don't we try to exposed criticism with suggestions rather
than mock/insult someone, isn't that will be more intelectual ?
