Thanks to you all for the advice. However, when I try either suggestion
with a floating group, stumpwm refuses to start with the following
error:
*** - NO-APPLICABLE-METHOD: When calling
#<STANDARD-GENERIC-FUNCTION STUMPWM::TILE-GROUP-CURRENT-FRAME> with
arguments (#<STUMPWM::FLOAT-GROUP #x000335BB50C8>), no method is
applicable.
